Job summary

Kaizen Gaming in Lisbon is recruiting a Software Engineer in Test to join our expanding GameTech team. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, contribute to test plans, and help ensure quality across features for Betano and Stoiximan.

You will work in a hybrid setup with a buddy on onboarding, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and collaborate with product teams to verify requirements are met. A BS/MS in CS and 3+ years in SDET are typical.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or IT related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test.
• Hands on experience in OOP languages (C# preferable).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Good understanding of all levels of the testing pyramid.
• Experience in defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, X-Ray etc.
• Familiarity with relational database engines (SQL).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodology.
• Experience working with product teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Passion for continuous learning and self-development.

Responsibilities

Overview We are hiring a Software Engineer in Test to join our team.

• Participate actively in scrum ceremonies in order to distribute test cases according to the test pyramid
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Responsible for the STLC of new features on testing suites, taking technical ownership to ensure timely and quality delivery
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
