Job summary

TeamViewer is hiring for a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer to operate and scale a global SaaS platform in a hybrid setup. You will drive reliability through automation, manage Azure-based services, and contribute to post-incident reviews with a focus on security and performance.

The role requires 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong Azure know‑how, and experience with containers, CI/CD, IaC, and monitoring tools. International teams and flexible work are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS/SE/IT or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting Azure application platforms.
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid CI/CD experience (GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience (Terraform, Argo CD).
• Ability to write and maintain scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with IAM solutions (Keycloak, Entra).
• Databases experience (PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog).
• Cloud networking and security understanding.
• English fluency.

• Operate and maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting a global SaaS platform.
• Deploy and operate feature and maintenance releases, ensuring safe and reliable delivery to production.
• Develop and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability to support 24/7 service reliability and reduce incidents.
• Reduce operational toil and improve consistency through automation.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, investigate incidents, and drive timely and effective resolution.
• Contribute to post‑incident reviews and proactively identify reliability risks, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate across the organization to continuously improve platform reliability, security, and operational maturity.
• Support installations on customer environments.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience


• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles


• Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure (AWS or GCP is a plus)


• Practical experience operating and troubleshooting Azure application platforms, including Azure Application Gateways and Azure App Services


• Practical experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)


• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps)


• Proven experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation (e.g. Terraform, Argo CD)


• Ability to write and maintain scripts (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)


• Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions (e.g. Keycloak, Entra)


• Solid understanding of databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL)


• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)


• Software development experience is highly beneficial


• Good understanding of networking and security principles in cloud environments


• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong collaboration skills


• Fluency in English
