TeamViewer is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in Porto to help develop and extend the Frontline platform. You will work across the stack from UI to backend services, delivering features end-to-end with React/TypeScript on the frontend and Java/Spring Boot on the backend.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in full-stack development, solid REST/microservices knowledge, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and strong English communication. Hybrid onsite onboarding and collaboration are provided.

Qualificações

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development or proven senior-level expertise.
• Strong frontend skills with TypeScript and React.
• Strong backend skills with Java and Spring Boot, including Spring Data and Spring Security.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed design.
• Experience with relational databases and ORM (Hibernate).
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Security/auth standards like JWT, OAuth2, OpenAPI.
• Fluency in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

TeamViewer's Frontline solution empowers frontline workers through workflow-based, real-time assistance on smart glasses, mobile phones, and tablets. Our platform connects the physical and digital worlds, combining 2D and 3D authoring tools to transform how industrial teams collaborate.

We are looking for an experienced and committed Full Stack Software Engineer with strong expertise across React and Java Spring Boot to help us develop the next generation of the Frontline platform. You will work across the full stack, delivering features end-to-end from UI to backend services.

• Design, implement, and maintain frontend applications using TypeScript and React.

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

• Participate in architecture and application design to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the full stack.

• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code using modern engineering and CI/CD practices.

• Engage in peer reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions to continuously raise code quality and alignment.

• Take ownership of your domain and deliver results with accountability and curiosity.

• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance the platform's capabilities.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development, or proven senior-level expertise in designing and delivering complex software systems.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React for frontend development.

• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend development, including frameworks such as Spring Data and Spring Security.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed system design.

• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).

• Understanding of security and authentication standards (JWT, OAuth2, OpenAPI).

• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience working with message queue systems (e.g., NATS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).

• Experience with public API design and developer-facing integrations.

• Experience with micro-frontend architectures (e.g., Module Federation, single-spa).

• Familiarity with state management libraries and patterns (e.g., Redux, Zustand, React Query).

• Experience with component libraries and modern frontend tooling.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
