We are seeking a Server & Database Administrator to join our Porto team, with 1 day a week in the office and hybrid work arrangements. You will manage Windows servers, maintain Java applications connected to Oracle, and support ongoing operations.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Server & Database Administrator.
• Knowledge of administration and support of Microsoft Windows servers.
• Experience with maintenance, update management, patch management, and system monitoring.
• Basic understanding of interfaces, database connections, and application architecture.
• Ability to perform structured error analysis and provide traceable documentation of technical changes.

Responsabilidades

• The position includes the technical support of existing IT systems as well as the maintenance and further development of existing applications in the corporate environment.
• Support and administration of Windows servers, including regular maintenance, installation of updates, application of patches, monitoring of system health, and resolution of technical issues.
• Support and maintenance of existing Java programs connected to an Oracle database, including error analysis, adjustments, technical documentation, and support for ongoing operations

Key Responsibilities

• The position includes the technical support of existing IT systems as well as the maintenance and further development of existing applications in the corporate environment.
• Support and administration of Windows servers, including regular maintenance, installation of updates, application of patches, monitoring of system health, and resolution of technical issues.
• Support and maintenance of existing Java programs connected to an Oracle database, including error analysis, adjustments, technical documentation, and support for ongoing operations

Required Skills

5+ years of proven experience as a Server & Database Administrator.

Functional Skills

• Knowledge of the administration and support of Microsoft Windows servers.
• Experience with maintenance, update management, patch management, and system monitoring.
• Basic understanding of interfaces, database connections, and application architecture.
• Ability to perform structured error analysis and provide traceable documentation of technical changes.

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Windows Server administration
• Java application operation and maintenance
• Oracle databases and SQL
• ADP PAISY software (desirable)
• PRIMION ZESWIN software (desirable) - particularly in connection with existing

HR, time management, or payroll systems.

Languages

• Fluency in German (mandatory).
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
