Job summary

Axians is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Delivery Engineer – CPE to lead end-to-end delivery of residential connectivity devices. You will oversee validation, rollout preparation, and post-launch stabilization for CPE such as gateways, ONTs and Wi-Fi extenders, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

The role requires deep IP networking knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, and the ability to manage risks, timelines and release plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical delivery, integration, validation or a related field.
• Experience with suppliers, vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on with residential gateways, ONTs, Wi‑Fi extenders or similar tech.
• Knowledge of CPE firmware, embedded validation, and deployment activities.
• Experience using Wireshark and Linux command-line tools.
• English proficiency in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of CPE devices and firmware releases with validation and rollout prep.
• Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and delivery timelines, driving mitigation actions.
• Coordinate testing and validation for product quality and release readiness.

• Communicate status, risks, and decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Senior Technical Delivery Engineer – CPE

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in Network Engineering, Telecommunications, CPE Engineering, or related areas to support the delivery and integration of residential connectivity solutions. This role combines technical analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and end-to-end delivery coordination across the full lifecycle of customer premises equipment (CPE), including residential gateways, ONTs, Wi‑Fi access points, extenders, and firmware releases. You will play a key role in ensuring delivery readiness, managing technical risks, coordinating suppliers and stakeholders, and supporting successful product rollouts and post‑launch stabilization.

What You Will Do on a Daily Basis

• Coordinate the end-to-end delivery of CPE devices and firmware releases, ensuring successful validation, rollout preparation, and post‑launch stabilization.

• Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines, proactively driving actions and mitigation plans.

• Coordinate testing and validation activities, ensuring product quality, release readiness, and service reliability.

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues through structured analysis of logs, configurations, and network data.

• Collaborate closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to align priorities, manage defects, and support delivery objectives.

• Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and key decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support security and vulnerability management activities, ensuring appropriate remediation and release planning.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, promoting better processes, documentation, automation, and knowledge sharing.

Your Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT, routing, and VLANs.

• Proven troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to derive conclusions from technical evidence and complex investigations.

• Ability to manage technical activities, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines with a proactive and autonomous approach.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical topics for different audiences.

• Collaborative mindset combined with a structured, ownership-driven, and solution-oriented way of working.
  

Your Main Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical delivery, integration, validation, product engineering, telecommunications, networking, or a related field.

• Experience working with suppliers, technology vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams.

• Hands‑on experience with residential gateways, ONTs, Wi‑Fi access points, extenders, or other broadband access technologies.

• Knowledge of CPE firmware, embedded software validation, and production rollout or deployment activities.

• Experience using troubleshooting and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, Linux command‑line environments, and log analysis.

• Familiarity with technologies and protocols such as TR‑069/CWMP, USP/TR‑369, VoIP, IPTV, and broadband access networks.

• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
