A leading tech firm in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to act as a liaison within the company. The ideal candidate has a solid background in system administration, understands software licensing, and is proficient in both Linux and Windows environments. This mid-senior level position offers an opportunity to work with diverse teams while ensuring operational consistency and smooth communication between technical and non-technical personnel.

Qualificações

Solid understanding of system administration and IT process management.

Hands-on experience with SAP, IBM, or Linux/Windows environments.
EU work permit required.

Responsibilities

Act as a bridge between the systems administration team and other internal departments.
Oversee the execution of backups, environment transitions, and system maintenance routines.
Collaborate with helpdesks, manage ticketing workflows, and support technical onboarding for team members.
Handle licensing controls, contract management, and market research for new service providers.
Ensure that communication between technical and non‑technical teams runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

Solid understanding of system administration, software licensing, and IT process management.
Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure operational consistency.
Hands‑on experience with platforms such as SAP, IBM tools, or Linux/Windows environments.
CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Knowledge of MicroStrategy, AS400, datacenter operations, or Apache/HTTP services.
Experience with open‑source environments and enterprise IT infrastructures.
Previous exposure to backup systems, monitoring tools, or automation platforms.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
