A technology company is seeking an IT Security Engineer to secure and manage configurations, monitor security events, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft 365 security, Fortigate firewalls, and strong scripting skills. Fluency in Portuguese and English is required. A BSc or MSc in a related field is preferred.

Qualificações

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 security including Intune and Defender for Endpoint.
• Proven experience in managing vulnerabilities, SIEM, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of SAST/DAST tools and application-level penetration testing.

Responsabilidades

• Secure and maintain configurations across Microsoft 365 and Fortigate.
• Monitor security events and lead incident response across the cloud environment.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and ISO 27001.

Conhecimentos

Microsoft 365 security expertise

Fortigate firewalls experience

Scripting skills in PowerShell or Python

Strong knowledge of secure coding

Fluent in Portuguese and English

Formação académica

BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

Your Mission

• Secure and maintain configurations across Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Fortigate, and Juniper, while managing vulnerabilities, patches, and access policies.
• Monitor security events, perform threat hunting, and lead incident response across the cloud environment.
• Strengthen application and cloud security through code reviews, SAST/DAST, audits, automation, and security integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Help shape the company’s security framework and ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and internal standards.

Requirements

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 security (Intune, Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access) and Atlassian security best practices.
• Proven experience securing Fortigate firewalls, Juniper networking, and managing vulnerabilities, SIEM, threat hunting, incident response, and audits.
• Solid knowledge of secure coding, SAST/DAST tools, and application‑level penetration testing.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (other languages are a plus).
• CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required for employment.

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
