Hexa People is seeking an ICT Security Administrator to manage and protect critical infrastructure in Lisbon. You will oversee Windows and Linux servers, AD/PKI, and endpoint security, implementing hardening measures and monitoring for incidents.

Responsibilities include virtualization management (VMware/Hyper‑V), backups with Veeam, firewall governance (Check Point), and SQL Server administration, ensuring availability, integrity and confidentiality across systems. Fluent English required.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar (mandatory).
• 3+ years in a similar security/IT admin role.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Active Directory management with GPOs and CA.
• Experience with SCCM and/or Intune.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Experience with backup solutions (Veeam).
• Experience with endpoint and server security solutions.
• Proficiency in hardening and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of networking (routing and switching).
• Knowledge of firewalls (Check Point).
• Knowledge of SQL Server DBA.
• Fluency in English.

Role Overview

To manage ICT systems and infrastructure security, ensuring the availability, integrity and confidentiality of services and data through access management, backup procedures, the implementation of hardening measures, continuous monitoring and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows and Linux systems, ensuring their installation, configuration, updating and hardening, including the management of virtualized environments (VMware and/or Hyper‑V)
• Manage Active Directory (accounts, groups and GPOs), the certificate infrastructure (CA/PKI) and the implementation of access control policies, ensuring the traceability and control of privileged accounts
• Ensure the application of information security policies and standards through the implementation of appropriate technical controls, support for audits and vulnerability assessments, and continuous risk mitigation.
• Ensure the backup, integrity, monitoring and recovery of data and systems, guaranteeing business continuity in the event of a failure.
• Manage and monitor network security through firewall configuration, ensuring traffic control and the prevention of unauthorized access.
• Install, configure and manage database instances, ensuring the correct operation and monitoring of resources (CPU, memory and disk).

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering or a similar field (mandatory)
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in administering Windows Server and Linux systems
• Experience in Active Directory management (GPOs, CA)
• Experience with SCCM and/or Intune
• Experience in virtualization, specifically VMware and/or Hyper‑V
• Experience with backup solutions, specifically Veeam
• Experience with endpoint and server security solutions
