Job summary

QualityAI in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking an Automation Test Engineer (SDET) to enhance our automated testing capabilities. You will work with C# or TypeScript, implement API automation, and leverage Playwright within modern DevOps practices.

As part of the team, you will design and maintain robust automation frameworks, integrate tests into Azure DevOps, and contribute to CI/CD improvements while collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with C# or Typescript.
• Proven API automation testing with RestSharp.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of functional, regression, and API testing methodologies.
• Experience working in collaborative development and QA environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using C# or Typescript for functional and regression testing.
• Design and implement API automation tests using RestSharp.
• Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Support and optimize CI/CD processes to ensure efficient testing and deployment cycles.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Maintain and continuously improve automation frameworks, test data, and reporting processes.
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members.
