Job summary
Jobgether Srl, based in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright/TypeScript) to enhance software quality across a portfolio of products. You will design and maintain end-to-end and API tests using Playwright and TypeScript, migrating legacy tests and promoting scalable testing infrastructure.
You will drive performance testing, CI/CD integration, and code quality through reviews and mentoring in a fully remote setup.
Qualifications
- Experience designing and maintaining E2E automation frameworks.
- Proven ability to automate UI workflows and validate REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques, coverage and risk-based prioritization.
- Experience with load and performance testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration into CI/CD.
- Knowledge of API testing with OpenAPI/Swagger is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize end-to-end and API test automation using Playwright/TypeScript.
- Migrate legacy Java-based tests to scalable, maintainable frameworks.
- Contribute to performance engineering through load testing and optimization.
- Lead code reviews, mentor teammates, and promote clean-code practices.
