ECCO, Portugal, is seeking a Senior SAP O2C Consultant to optimize our Order-to-Cash processes and serve as a subject-matter expert in SAP SD. You will ensure end-to-end sales, billing, and revenue operations align with business and compliance expectations.

You will contribute to stable SAP AFS operations during S/4HANA implementation and participate in ongoing SAP enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams in an international environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent IT-related education.
• 5–8 years hands-on SAP O2C / SAP SD experience.
• Experience with SAP AFS; fashion/footwear industry exposure is a plus.
• Experience in complex, international SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end O2C and SAP SD processes.
• Ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20 days/year).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior SAP O2C SME across the organization.
• Ensure stable O2C processes in SAP AFS during S/4HANA transformation.
• Analyze, design, configure, and test SAP O2C processes focusing on SAP SD.
• Support and optimize order management, pricing, billing, and returns.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardization of O2C processes.
• Support SAP initiatives, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and ongoing support.
• Lead or assist workshops with business users and stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specs and document processes; collaborate with dev teams.
• Provide 3rd-level support and root-cause analysis for O2C issues.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain; ensure governance.
• Verify changes and adherance to internal controls and audit requirements.

What We Are Looking For

Our IT team is looking for an experienced and solution-oriented Senior SAP O2C Consultant to support, optimize, and further develop our Order-to-Cash processes across the organization. In this role, you will act as a subject-matter expert within SAP SD and related modules, ensuring efficient end-to-end sales, billing, and revenue processes aligned with business and compliance requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring stable SAP AFS operations while actively contributing to the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation and future transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior SAP O2C subject-matter expert within the organization.
• Ensure stable and efficient O2C processes in SAP AFS during the S/4HANA transformation.
• Analyze, design, configure, and test SAP O2C processes, with a focus on SAP SD.
• Support and optimize key O2C processes, including order management, pricing and discounts, delivery and shipping, billing and invoicing, intercompany processes, credit management, and returns.
• Translate business requirements into effective and scalable functional SAP solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices across O2C processes.
• Support global and local SAP initiatives, rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Participate in the SAP S/4HANA implementation and support the ongoing S/4HANA project as required.
• Lead or support workshops with business users and key stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and maintain process and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams on developments, integrations, and system enhancements.
• Provide 3rd-level support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for O2C-related issues.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure effective end-to-end processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and audit requirements.
• Validate and sign off on O2C process changes and enhancements, in line with the established governance model.

Requirements

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP expertise with a business-oriented mindset, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in an international and cross-functional environment. We are looking for someone who can say "yes" to most of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field;
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP O2C / SAP SD.
• Proven experience working with SAP AFS; experience in fashion, footwear, or other relevant industries is an advantage.
• Experience working in complex and international SAP environments.
• Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end O2C processes and SAP SD.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (mandatory).
• Willingness to travel internationally as required, with expected travel of up to 20 days per year.

A nice to have

• SAP certifications in SD and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong SAP AFS knowledge and an interest in S/4HANA.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Knowledge of SAP integrations and coordination with technical development teams.
• Experience with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements in SAP environments.
