What We Are Looking For
Our IT team is looking for an experienced and solution-oriented Senior SAP P2P Consultant to support, optimize, and further develop our Procure-to-Pay processes across the organization. In this role, you will act as a subject-matter expert within SAP MM/P2P and related modules, bridging business and IT to ensure efficient, standardized, and compliant procurement processes. You will play a key role in ensuring stable SAP AFS operations while actively contributing to the ongoing SAP S/4HANA implementation and future transition, driving process standardization, automation, governance, and measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior SAP P2P subject-matter expert within the organization.
- Ensure stable and efficient P2P processes in SAP AFS during the S/4HANA transformation.
- Analyze, design, configure, and test SAP P2P processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP standards.
- Support and optimize key P2P processes, including SAP MM, master data, inventory management, procurement, and invoice verification.
- Drive end-to-end process ownership across the Source-to-Pay process.
- Support procurement optimization, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into effective and scalable functional SAP solutions.
- Drive process standardization, automation, governance, and best practices across P2P.
- Support global SAP initiatives, rollouts, enhancements, upgrades, and implementations.
- Contribute to global template design and deployment across different locations.
- Support the design and optimization of workflows and approval strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Production, and external partners.
- Ensure effective integration with SAP FI/CO, SD, WM, Logistics, and Production processes.
- Support Vendor and Contract Management processes, including integration with Coupa.
- Participate in data migration, testing, and cutover planning activities.
- Lead or support workshops with business users and key stakeholders.
- Prepare functional specifications and maintain process and solution documentation.
- Coordinate with technical teams on developments, integrations, and system enhancements.
- Provide 3rd-level support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for P2P-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance standards, and audit requirements.
- Support the ongoing SAP S/4HANA project, including greenfield implementation activities, as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong SAP expertise with a business-oriented mindset and a proven ability to bridge business and IT. We are looking for someone who can say "yes" to most of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field;
- 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP P2P / SAP MM.
- Strong knowledge of end‑to‑end Procure‑to‑Pay / Source‑to‑Pay processes.
- Proven experience working with SAP AFS; experience in an AFS environment is an advantage.
- Experience working in complex and international SAP environments.
- Experience with SAP MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, master data, and invoice verification.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (mandatory).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required, with expected travel of up to 20 days per year.
A nice to have
- SAP certifications in P2P, MM, and/or S/4HANA.
- Strong SAP AFS knowledge and an interest in S/4HANA.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, particularly greenfield projects.
- Experience with Coupa or other Vendor and Contract Management solutions.
- Experience with SAP integrations across FI/CO, SD, WM, Logistics, and Production.
- Experience with data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
- Knowledge of workflow design and approval strategies.
- Experience in procurement optimization, automation, and cost‑control initiatives.
