Just Vargas in Portugal is seeking a Senior SAP MM Consultant for an international client in the Technology sector. You will analyze business requirements and design SAP MM solutions aligned with procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.

Configure and support core SAP MM functionalities, including Purchasing, Purchase Requisitions, Contracts, and Release Strategies, while managing master data and supporting end-to-end P2P across multiple plants and company codes.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years SAP MM consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Vendor Master.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Fiori Apps.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Certification in SAP MM or S/4HANA Procurement desirable.

We are currently looking for a SeniorSAP MM Consultant for an international client in the Technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design SAP MM solutions aligned with procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.
• Configure and support core SAP MM functionalities, including Purchasing, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Scheduling Agreements, Source Determination, Release Strategies, Vendor Master Data, and Invoice Verification.
• Manage material master data and procurement-related master data.
• Support end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across multiple plants and company codes.
• Configure and optimize logistics execution processes, including Goods Receipt (GR), Goods Issue (GI), Stock Transfers, Delivery Processing, and Shipping activities.
• Support warehouse operations, including WM/EWM processes, inventory counting, picking and packing, batch management, and serial number management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to procurement, warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics execution.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules, including SD, WM/EWM, PP, QM, and FI/CO.
• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, IDocs, EDI, APIs, and third-party logistics integrations.
• Participate in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and S/4HANA transformation projects.
• Prepare functional specifications, change requests, and business process documentation.
• Execute unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support cutover, deployment, and hypercare activities during project go-lives.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support, including incident analysis and root cause investigation.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best-practice solutions.
• Mentor key users and junior consultants, delivering knowledge transfer and training when required.
• Maintain and update process documentation, training materials, and operational procedures.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 5 years of SAP MM consulting experience .
• Strong hands-on experience in Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Invoice Verification, and Release Procedures .
• Solid knowledge of Procurement-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management processes.
• Experience with SAP Logistics Execution (LE) , including shipping, delivery processing, stock movements, and warehouse operations.
• Good understanding of integrations between SAP MM, SD, WM/EWM, PP, QM, and FI/CO .
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Fiori Apps .
• Knowledge of IDocs, EDI, APIs , and basic ABAP debugging is a plus.
• Proven experience in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, or S/4HANA transformations .
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• SAP MM or S/4HANA Procurement certification is desirable.
