Richemont Iberia SL is seeking a Senior SAP ECC/MM Solution Engineer to bridge business needs with SAP implementations, focusing on ECC/MM and Ariba Buying modules. You will lead go-live activities for Buying and Guided Buying, design and implement scalable solutions, and ensure alignment with product guardrails.

The role requires deep expertise in SAP ECC/MM configuration, Ariba Buying, and integration with SAP Business Network, with strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Qualificações

5 to 10 years of proficiency in configuring all aspects of the SAP ECC/MM module.
Experience with full lifecycle implementations and leading multiple end-to-end SAP ECC/MM and Ariba Buying implementations.
Knowledge in configuring Ariba Buying module: catalog management, requisitioning, approvals, order management, invoicing (2–5 years).
Expertise with Ariba administration/maintenance and SAP ECC/MM backend integration (Ariba <-> CIG).
Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC/MM backend procurement processes and configuration.
Knowledge about SAP ABAP debugging (mandatory).
Knowledge about SAP ARIBA Buying and Guided Buying module, including PR/PO validation, workflow, policies and catalog management.
Knowledge of ARIBA Buying integration with the SAP Business Network.
Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. CIG, cXML, APIs).
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing SAP ECC/MM landscapes.

Senior Sap ECC/MM Solution Engineer

Richemont is looking for a talented and highly motivated Senior Sap ECC/MM Solution Engineer that bridges business needs and product capabilities. We are seeking an experienced and senior SAP ECC/MM and Ariba consultant to take over the go-live of the Buying and Guided Buying module, design and implement areas to come.

The candidate will bridge business needs and product capabilities.

The candidate must be able to analyze processes, captures requirements, design functional specifications, and configure standard rules within the product’s solutions (SAP, SaaS, rules engines).

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you must ensure that business problems are framed correctly and that product changes remain coherent, scalable, and aligned with product guardrails

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business analysis & requirements

Analyze business processes end-to-end.
Translate business needs into functional requirements.
Document user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases.
Challenge requests to match product strategy and standards.

Functional configuration

Configure rules, master data and functional settings within SAP, SaaS or workflow tools.
Validate configuration through testing & scenarios.
Ensure configuration adheres to product constraints and guardrails.

Collaboration with Product Owners

Support prioritization and backlog refinement.
Provide process insights and impact analysis.
Validate feasibility with technical teams and SMEs.

Testing & quality

Prepare test cases and validation steps.
Support UAT with business users.

Continuous improvement

Suggest optimizations to processes and user experience.
Document functional knowledge and contribute to playbooks.

Security & scalability

Ensure API governance (auth, quotas, throttling, versioning).
Ensure integrations are scalable and future-proof.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Experience

Experience with Full Lifecycle Implementations.
Demonstrated experience in leading and executing multiple end-to-end SAP ECC/MM module and Ariba Buying implementations.
5 to 10 years of proficiency in configuring all aspects of the SAP ECC/MM module.
Knowledge in configuring Ariba Buying module, including catalog management, requisitioning, approvals, order management, and invoicing. (2 – 5 years).
Experience in customizing SAP ECC/MM and Ariba to meet specific business requirements.
Expertise with Ariba administration/maintenance and SAP ECC/MM backend integration (ARIBA <->CIG).

Technical Skills

Advanced Knowledge of SAP ECC/MM backend procurement processes and configuration (SAP MM module).
Knowledge about SAP ABAP debugging. (mandatory)
Knowledge about SAP ARIBA Buying and Guided Buying module, including PR/PO validation, Workflow, procurement policies and catalog management.
knowledge of specific configuration (non standard) in SAP ARIBA (guided) BUYING (UX customization, process logic customization, field mapping customization)
Knowledge of ARIBA Buying integration with the SAP Business network
Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g. CIG, cXML, APIs).
Familiarity with SAP ECC/MM backend finance integration with procurement flows
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for managing and monitoring SAP ECC/MM landscapes, including system configuration and changes
Knowledge and experience on Agile methodology is a real plus.

Functional skills

Strong analytical and problem-framing abilities.

Project Facilitation:

Proven ability to lead and facilitate design workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
Experience in documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
Experience in configuring SAP ARIBA Buying based on functional specification.
Experience in developing and executing test plans, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Defect management and resolution.
