Zusammenfassung

CorPower Ocean is seeking an experienced ROV Supervisor to lead the ROV system procurement, commissioning, and operational activities for our wave energy projects in Viana do Castelo, Portugal. You will own technical specifications, manage tendering, and supervise the mobilisation and integration of the ROV system on our installation vessel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 10 years' experience in ROV operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisor role.
• Experience with light or heavy work-class ROV systems.
• Experience sourcing ROV systems including LARS and/or tooling is meriting.
• Degree in Electromechanical/Mechatronics/Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent offshore engineering experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead the tender process for ROV system procurement and ensure it meets functional requirements.
• Define operational requirements, interfaces, and performance criteria with engineering, project and operations teams.
• Coordinate with ship design and winch system leads.
• Oversee ROV system integration, commissioning, and readiness for offshore operations.
• Develop operational procedures, risk assessments, and maintenance plans.
• Build and lead a team of ROV pilots and technicians.
• Manage ROV operations during marine campaigns and ensure safe, efficient execution.
• Support ongoing technology development for future deployments.
• Manage ROV service and maintenance activities in Portugal.
• Support assembly and on-land testing of Wave Energy Converters.
