Job summary

CorPower Ocean is seeking a Marine Operations Project Engineer to take a key role in the preparation and installation of CorPower wave farms, including procedures for loadout, transport, anchor, cables and WECs.

The role involves sourcing equipment, deck spreads, rigging and sea fastening for offshore campaigns; base in Stockholm or Viana do Castelo, with options to Edinburgh or Oslo offices.

You will work with a world-class team to advance offshore engineering with safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience developing offshore installation methods.
• Experience with installation cycles from start to finish.
• Knowledge of mooring systems, ROVs, subsea tooling, cable lay spreads, cranes and winches.

Responsibilities

• Methods and equipment for marine operations (Piling, cable install, hub, and WEC operations).
• Development and continuous improvement of procedures.
• Ensure QHSE and risk assessments comply with policy.
• Chartering, rental and procurement of marine assets and equipment for operations.
• Select and contract marine operators and suppliers for farm infrastructure installations.
• Develop improved methods and equipment to meet Installation and O&M targets balancing safety, cycle time and OPEX.
• Develop and maintain marine ops processes and train teams.
• Lead development of future marine operations methods and tooling.
• Update procedures to meet internal and external requirements from customers, investors, MWS, DNV and underwriters.
