Job summary

Hovione, a global CDMO, seeks a Senior Engineering & Maintenance Manager - Reliability Engineering to lead site reliability across critical facilities and assets in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will drive lifecycle strategies, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain asset performance and compliance.

Responsible for developing preventive and predictive maintenance, leading RCA investigations, and guiding maintenance decisions with Lean

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or Instrumentation) or related field.
• Extensive maintenance experience in GMP environments.
• Knowledge of industrial safety, environment, and budget principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the reliability and engineering strategy for critical facilities, equipment and infrastructure.
• Identify and manage asset reliability risks using data from performance, history, and maintenance.
• Lead RCA and failure investigations and translate lessons into corrective actions.
• Develop and optimise preventive, predictive and risk-based maintenance strategies.
• Apply reliability methods (RCM, FMEA/FMECA, criticality, condition monitoring) to improve asset performance.
• Provide reliability input into design, acquisition, commissioning and lifecycle management.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles to reduce failures.
• Coach and develop a team of technical engineers and set performance objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Quality and EHS on asset decisions.
• Ensure GMP, regulatory, safety standards and technical governance are met.
