Decskill is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive integration and API testing across microservices and data stores. You will design robust test strategies, implement REST API tests in C#/.NET and Postman, and apply BDD with Karate, Cucumber, and Gherkin to ensure quality from development through release.

You will also build UI automation, work with Docker/Kubernetes environments, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in integration testing for microservices and distributed systems.
• REST API testing using C#/.NET (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest) and/or Postman.
• Karate DSL, Cucumber/SpecFlow, and Gherkin for BDD and API testing.
• Web Test Automation: Appium for mobile/hybrid scenarios.
• Languages & Tools: Java, TypeScript, and C#/.NET for test automation.
• MongoDB (queries/data validation) and Kafka (producers/consumers) familiarity.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Linux and Windows environments knowledge.
• SDLC/STLC in Agile environments; BDD collaboration across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Implement consumer-provider contract tests using tools such as Pact.
• Develop and maintain UI automation tests for the Angular web application using Playwright + TypeScript.
• Appium for mobile/hybrid scenarios, when applicable.
• Integrate all test suites into the Jenkins CI/CD pipeline (integration, API, BDD, UI, and contract tests).
• Design and manage test data strategies for MongoDB and Kafka.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to run tests in Kubernetes and Docker environments.
• Champion quality best practices and promote BDD adoption across development and business teams.

We are looking for Senior QA Engineer

• Design and implement integration tests across microservices, MongoDB, and Kafka;
• Build and maintain REST API test suites covering functional, negative, boundary, and error-handling scenarios;
• Apply a BDD approach using Karate, Cucumber, and Gherkin for API and integration testing;
• Implement consumer-provider contract tests using tools such as Pact;
• Develop and maintain UI automation tests for the Angular web application using:
• Playwright + TypeScript;
• Appium - mobile/hybrid scenarios, when applicable).

Requirements:

• Solid experience in integration testing for microservices and distributed systems;
• REST API testing with C#/.NET (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest, HttpClient, RestSharp) and/or Postman + Newman;
• Karate DSL, Cucumber/SpecFlow, and Gherkin for BDD and API testing;
• Web Test Automation (at least one is required):
• Appium - mobile/hybrid automation, integration with device farms.
• Languages & Tools:
• Java, TypeScript, and C#/.NET for test automation;
• MongoDB (queries and data validation), Kafka (producers/consumers);
• Docker, Kubernetes (foundational concepts), Linux and Windows environments.
• Testing Best Practices:
• SDLC/STLC in Agile environments;
• BDD as a collaboration and specification-by-example methodology.

Nice to Have:

• Testcontainers for .NET or Java;
• Observability tools: ELK Stack, Prometheus/Grafana;
• Cypress for E2E testing;
• Performance testing: JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Karate Gatling;
• Xray and ALM for continuous test management;
• Experitest for web and mobile testing on device farms;
• Karate Mock Server for dependency simulation in isolated integration tests.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams;
• Proactive mindset in proposing improvements to processes, tooling, and test strategy;
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear and objective test scenarios;
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and failure scenarios.
