Decskill, an IT consulting company with a multinational client base, is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join its Lisbon-based team. You will develop and maintain automated tests for both front-end and back-end applications, while contributing to test planning, strategy, and execution in an international context.

You will work closely with developers, participate in sprints, and implement automated scenarios using Playwright or Serenity within a BDD framework.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain automated tests for front-end and back-end apps.
• Create test plans and manage testing activities using Azure DevOps.
• Write test scenarios following the BDD approach.
• Perform manual testing before automation implementation.
• Execute exploratory and sanity testing to validate features.
• Validate features in SIT environment and coordinate with developers.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand‑ups.
• Automate test cases after validating new functionality.

We are looking for an QA Automation Engineer!

Responsabilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests for both front-end and back-end applications.
• Create test plans and manage testing activities using Azure DevOps.
• Write test scenarios following the Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodology.
• Perform manual testing before implementing test automation.
• Execute exploratory testing and sanity testing.
• Validate new features in the System Integration Testing (SIT) environment.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand new features and define the testing strategy.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation sessions, and daily stand-up meetings.
• Automate test cases after successful manual validation of new functionalities.
• Work in an international environment, communicating daily in English.

Requirements

Test Automation:

• Front-end test automation.

Tools:

• Azure DevOps (Test Plans and test management).

Programming Languages:

• Java.
• TypeScript.

Testing Frameworks:
