Job summary

Alpineo Consulting in Lisbon seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own backend services and APIs, from design through deployment in the cloud.

You will work with engineers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders in a Scrum environment, delivering scalable Python-based solutions on AWS.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with proven experience designing and developing scalable backend APIs.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, RDS, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Strong DevOps mindset, including: Git, Docker, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, security and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of backend services and APIs from architecture to deployment in the cloud.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders on multiple projects and technical challenges.
