Gleeds in Sines, Portugal, seeks a Professional Project Manager to deliver project management services for an Electrical Substation project. The role is on-site during the work week in Sines.

You will support the Project Director, deliver high-quality services, administer contracts, and manage service delivery for profit. Strong communication, problem-solving and numeracy are essential, with fluency in English.

Professional Project Manager responsible for the delivery of project management services for an Electrical Substation project.

Location: Sines, Portugal. This role requires being on-site during the work week. No rotation or fly-in/fly-out arrangement applies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Supporting Project Director in delivering business objectives
• Delivering high-quality services and deliverables ensuring that services meet our Customer’s requirements.
• Administering contracts as a contract administrator, employer’s agent or project manager.
• Producing and presenting to customers
• Managing service delivery for profit.
• Advising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

Who we’re looking for:

Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills

• Project management experience working on energy-related projects (substations, power lines)
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of project management techniques
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
• Methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
• Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Fluency in English.
• Available to work in Sines 5 days per week (no rotation applies).
