Synopsys is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to drive engineering execution excellence across R&D. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define scope, manage plans, and mitigate risks while maintaining clear communication with leadership.

The role requires 10+ years in customer-facing PM within engineering, strong stakeholder communication, and proficiency with Jira and MS Project. The position is hybrid, based in Portugal (Lisbon or Porto) with opportunities across

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in customer-facing project or program management roles in an engineering environment.
• Strong ability to manage customer expectations and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project preferred) and issue-tracking systems such as Jira.
• Working knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments.
• Familiarity with development processes for Mixed-Signal IP, SoC, or ASIC programs.
• Understanding of QMS processes and procedures.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsabilidades

• Define project scope, requirements, and success criteria with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resources, dependencies, and risk mitigation.
• Track execution against plan, identify risks, and drive mitigation and resolution.
• Communicate status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.
• Represent R&D in customer engagements and align on commitments and delivery plans.
• Evaluate change requests and technical issues reported by customers; coordinate responses.
• Manage product updates triggered by silicon process and design changes, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IP Program Management during pre- and post-sales.
• Ensure adherence to quality management system processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members to foster collaboration and accountability.
