Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Portugal is seeking a Senior Product & Test Engineer for our Research and Development team. You will help shape the future of technology by merging creativity with technical expertise in new product introduction and production engineering.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust product performance, high yield, and cost improvements, apply data-driven methods (SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma), and analyze product and test data to drive engineering

Qualifications

Degree in a scientific or technical field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in Product and Test Engineering.
Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
Experience with data-driven engineering and statistical analysis.
Experience in the semiconductor industry would be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Responsibilities

Lead NPI and production engineering with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, quality, yield, and cost improvements.
Manage new product introduction and provide production support engineering for assigned products.
Investigate and resolve yield, stability, and quality issues with Design, Process, Test, Reliability and Manufacturing teams.
Drive process improvements to increase manufacturing yield, improve process stability and production costs.
Apply SPC, FMEA, Advanced Process Control, 8D and Six Sigma methods.
Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, risks and drive corrective actions.
Develop data-driven, robust manufacturing solutions.
