DSwiss AG in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to execute the technical vision for on-prem infrastructure, balancing hands-on work with building automated, scalable platforms.

You will introduce Kubernetes workloads, gradually modernize services to containerized approaches, and design hybrid models where VM and Kubernetes coexist. You will own operations, patching, capacity, and releases, while creating tooling in Python to improve reliability.

• Strong Kubernetes experience with on-premises integration.

Responsabilités

• Introduce and operate Kubernetes-based workloads in on-prem environments.
• Incrementally modernize platform toward containerized/declarative approaches.
• Design hybrid models where VM-based and Kubernetes workloads coexist.
• Operate, maintain and modernize on-prem infrastructure for availability and security.
• Own day-to-day operations including patching, upgrades, and capacity management.
• Manage configuration with Puppet and Ansible with auditable changes.
• Operate Ceph storage with capacity and performance monitoring.
• Build and operate internal platforms for deployments across VM and container components.
• Support releases with manual and automated processes to improve reliability.
• Develop automation in Python to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
• Implement and operate monitoring (Zabbix) and related observability tooling.
• Participate in on-call rotation and perform root-cause analysis.
• Address operational risks across runtime, databases, storage, and CI/CD tooling.
• Embed security/compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) into daily ops.
• Maintain runbooks and release procedures for repeatable execution.
• Evaluate tooling with an on-prem-first approach to improve stability and maintainability.
