Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment Portugal in Lisbon is seeking Infrastructure Engineers at mid and senior levels. This role focuses on software engineers with a strong infrastructure/platform focus, building tooling and automation to enable scalable, reliable systems.

You will work with Python/Go, Kubernetes, and modern cloud environments, shaping CI/CD and internal tooling while tackling complex production challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience.
• Commercial experience with Python and/or Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• CI/CD knowledge.
• Experience building infrastructure or platform tooling.
• Exposure to technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, Prometheus, Grafana or OpenTelemetry.

Responsibilities

• Build infrastructure tooling and automation using Python and/or Go.
• Work extensively with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Develop tooling around deployment, orchestration and observability.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability and availability.
• Work across modern cloud environments.
• Build and improve CI/CD and internal engineering tooling.
• Work with distributed systems, databases and messaging technologies.
• Solve complex production and infrastructure problems.
