Job summary

KCS IT in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will work across cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and automation to support multiple client projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience, fluency in English, and strong knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments (AWS or Azure). You will collaborate with diverse teams and deliver reliable, scalable services in a hybrid Lisbon setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or similar.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and platform operations.
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of platform monitoring and observability.
• Experience with incident management and service requests.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python and scripting.
• Experience supporting and improving cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile environments.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Snowflake or citizen development platforms is valued.
• Fluency in English; candidate must be in Portugal (hybrid).
