Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our global DevOps team in Lisbon. The role combines on-premises infrastructure management with cloud capabilities (AWS/Azure/GCP) to design, deploy, and operate robust systems.

You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning, and ensure security and reliability across hybrid environments. The ideal candidate has strong scripting skills, IaC experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi), and hands-on virtualization and networking

Qualifications

Proven DevOps experience with emphasis on on-prem infrastructure.
Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, VPNs, DNS).
Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaC.
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell).

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage on-premises infrastructure including servers and networking.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and cloud apps.
Automate processes with dev/ops teams to improve reliability.
Monitor performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
Ensure security policies are followed and maintain documentation.
