Job summary

Alpineo Consulting is seeking a Dynatrace Engineer to join a global technology team responsible for implementing, administering, and continuously improving the Dynatrace platform, enabling observability across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You will contribute to operational excellence, performance optimization, and proactive incident management.

You will administer Dynatrace, deploy OneAgent, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Dynatrace.
• Hands-on experience with Dynatrace Managed or Dynatrace SaaS.
• Experience deploying OneAgent and configuring monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) and infrastructure monitoring.
• Familiarity with digital experience monitoring (DEM) and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes is a plus.

We are seeking a talented Dynatrace Engineer to join a global technology team supporting mission-critical platforms within a large international organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of the Dynatrace platform, enabling end-to-end observability across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and digital services. This role will play a key part in ensuring operational excellence, performance optimization, and proactive incident management.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain the Dynatrace platform.
• Implement and optimize monitoring solutions across applications, infrastructure, databases, and cloud environments.
• Configure OneAgent deployments and ensure proper monitoring coverage.
• Develop custom dashboards, alerts, reports, and service-level monitoring.
• Analyze application performance and infrastructure metrics to identify bottlenecks and root causes.
• Support incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to improve observability and service reliability.
• Implement and maintain synthetic monitoring and real user monitoring (RUM).
• Develop monitoring standards and best practices across the organization.
• Automate monitoring and reporting tasks where applicable.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in performance tuning and capacity planning initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with Dynatrace.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with monitoring modern application architectures, including microservices and APIs.
• Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM processes.

Nice to Have

• Dynatrace Associate or Professional Certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with observability practices and SRE principles.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, AppDynamics, or Elastic.
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance, or financial services.
