Job summary

emagine is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to own the software development platform and CI/CD ecosystem from Lisbon, Portugal. Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to design and operate CI/CD pipelines and software development platforms, preferably GitLab CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Own the CI/CD ecosystem including templates, builder images, and pipelines for multiple tech stacks.
• Administer and evolve the DevOps toolchain (GitLab, CI runners, build agents, artifact repositories, code quality, observability).
• Operate Jira and Confluence on AWS EKS.
• Integrate security & quality controls (SCA, SBOMs, vulnerability mgmt, secrets).
• Be the first point of contact for platform requests and troubleshooting by dev teams.
• Maintain engineering metrics platform and dashboards.
• Ensure platform reliability: backups, DR, incident mgmt, root cause analysis.
• Deliver training, documentation, reports; mentor engineers; engage vendors.
