Job summary

Auto Europe in Lisbon seeks a seasoned DevOps/Platform Engineer to build and run the platform engineers rely on. You’ll own CI/CD pipelines, GitOps with ArgoCD, and infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible. You’ll partner with developers to improve performance, reliability, and security, shipping production-ready systems with a product mindset.

You’ll work across AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud tooling, balancing speed and stability while empowering teams to treat the platform as a product.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role.
• Strong AWS production-grade experience.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
• CI/CD pipelines and real-world deployments.
• Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Monitoring and logging with Prometheus/Grafana/OpenSearch.
• Strong English communication.
• Troubleshooter mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitOps via ArgoCD.
• Provide infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
• Run containerized services on Kubernetes (EKS) with Helm.
• Own reliability: monitoring, logging, incident response, blameless post-incident reviews.
• Work cross-functionally with developers to improve performance and release software.
• Incorporate DevSecOps: security into pipelines and infrastructure.
• Leverage AI tools to move faster and draft Terraform modules.
