The role focuses on Python development, software architecture, and guiding technical direction across cross-country initiatives.

The candidate will work with Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform, drive DevOps and CI/CD practices, and ensure QA, security, and observability are embedded in the SDLC, while collaborating

Qualificações

• 15+ years of experience as a Python Developer, including experience as a Principal Engineer in large-scale projects.
• Strong Python development and software architecture experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong DevOps practices and CI/CD, including deployment automation and operational best practices.
• Solid experience with QA practices, testing methodologies and quality standards.
• Experience with security, performance and observability in the SDLC.
• Experience in software production support and operations; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies; promoting adoption and continuous improvement across teams.
• Fluent English (C1) and strong communication skills.

What we’re looking for:

• Must be currently residing in Portugal.
• 15+ years of experience as a Python Developer, including experience as a Principal Engineer in large-scale projects.
• Strong experience in Python development, software architecture and technical design, defining technical direction and aligning architectural decisions with organizational strategy.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes (K8s) and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD, including continuous integration, deployment automation and operational best practices.
• Solid experience with Quality Assurance (QA) practices, testing methodologies and the promotion of quality standards across teams.
• Experience with software development best practices, including debugging, troubleshooting, code optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience integrating security, performance and observability into the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in software production support and operations, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, promoting adoption and continuous improvement across multiple teams.
• Fluent English (C1) and strong communication skills.
