Morson Edge (Technology) seeks a Senior Platform DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale cloud platforms and an Internal Developer Platform (IDP). You’ll drive automation, standardisation, and cost-conscious operations across multiple teams.

As a senior contributor, you’ll shape platform strategy, improve developer productivity, and collaborate with Security, Architecture, and Product teams to raise the bar on reliability and governance.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or SRE.
• Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Internal Developer Platforms (Backstage, Crossplane or similar).
• Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry and modern observability practices.
• DevSecOps, policy-as-code, secrets management and compliance automation.
• Platform governance, DORA metrics and developer productivity initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Designing and implementing scalable platform engineering solutions.
• Building and evolving an Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Developing Golden Paths, reusable templates, and self-service developer capabilities.
• Defining and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Designing and operating Kubernetes-based cloud platforms.
• Managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Improving platform reliability, observability, security, and cost optimisation.
• Collaborating across Engineering, Security, Operations, and Architecture teams.
• Driving platform engineering standards and engineering best practices.
