Job summary

Bosch Group in Aveiro, Portugal is seeking a Plant Controlling professional to partner with plant management, ensuring transparent financial performance. You will coordinate key controlling processes, drive cost transparency, and contribute to investment and headcount analyses across production areas.

The role requires senior-level Plant Controlling experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluency in Portuguese and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a comparable field.
• Solid experience in Plant Controlling, Manufacturing Finance, or a similar environment, ideally at senior level.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, inventory valuation, production costs and CAPEX/investment analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex financial data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for management and non-financial stakeholders.
• Structured, proactive, hands-on, results-oriented, with ownership and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plant Performance: Deliver timely analyses and presentation of the Plant Performance Report with KPIs for decision-making.
• Stock & Inventory Management: Manage stock KPIs and the physical inventory process as lead CTG coordinator.
• Investment Assessments: Evaluate and control plant-related investments and CAPEX.
• Headcount & Personnel Costs: Track direct headcount and labour costs by production area.
• Production Costs: Monitor material costs and deviations to improve cost transparency.
• Product Costing: Develop and maintain cost structures for key plant products and devices.
