Job summary

Access Talent Group is seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler based in Portugal to support major MV/HV substation and energy infrastructure EPC projects across Europe. You will develop, maintain and control integrated project schedules from engineering through commissioning, collaborating with management, engineering, procurement and site teams to monitor progress and mitigate delays.

The role requires strong CPM/logic skills, long-lead equipment awareness, and proficiency in Primavera P6,

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in project planning or scheduling within engineering/construction.
Experience with MV/HV substations or electrical infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
Ability to develop and manage integrated schedules across engineering, procurement and construction.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed baseline schedules for EPC substation projects.
Integrate engineering, procurement and construction activities into coordinated programmes.
Monitor progress, critical paths and milestones across multiple projects.
Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and schedule narratives.
Support earned value management and project controls.
Develop short-term look-ahead programmes (3–6 weeks).
Manage schedule risk and provide recovery plans where needed.
Interface with Project Managers, engineers and site teams to ensure schedule integrity.
