Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a senior Applications Engineer specializing in PCIe 6.0/7.0 bring-up. You will work with customers on silicon validation, provide on-site support, and collaborate with SerDes IP teams to resolve complex issues at 64 GT/s and beyond.

The role requires deep expertise in signal integrity, PAM4 signaling, FLIT mode, and RTL analysis, with travel roughly twice yearly to customer sites. You will help define best practices and contribute to future SerDes development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics engineering with 10+ years in SerDes bring-up.
• Expertise with PCIe 6.0/7.0, PAM4 signaling, FLIT mode, 64 GT/s and above.
• Proficient in Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL for debugging digital designs.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior-level technical support during silicon bring-up and production.
• Lead root cause analysis for SI, protocol compliance, and interoperability challenges.
• Perform precision measurements with high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and related tools.
• Analyze and simulate Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL to diagnose digital design issues.
• Drive customer engagements and translate findings into clear guidance.
• Develop robust test methodologies and best practices for SerDes validation.
