Cloudflare is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for Professional Services in Lisbon. The role blends senior technical advisory with onsite engagement to architect, optimize, and drive value from Cloudflare’s platform for strategic customers.

You will collaborate across Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering, translating complex requirements into scalable solutions while staying current with industry trends and new Cloudflare offerings.

Qualificações

• Experience in a senior technical customer-facing role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Technical Account Manager) within cloud networking, security, or web infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of Cloudflare’s Application and Security portfolio (DNS, WAF, DDoS, Bot Management, CDN).
• Hands-on experience securing web apps, APIs, and services using Cloudflare tools.
• Proven ability to work with enterprise accounts using Cloudflare products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, providing strategic recommendations and technical insights for Cloudflare solutions (Workers, Workers AI).
• Lead architectural discussions, design sessions, and solution reviews for optimal use of Cloudflare offerings.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and deliver strategic solutions with support and product teams.
• Manage complex configurations using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for operational stability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Support, Partners, Product, and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Advise customers on security, network optimization, scalability, and performance tuning.
