Job summary

Cross Border Talents is seeking a senior Order-to-Cash leader to own end-to-end O2C operations in Porto. You will manage order management, billing, collections, and cash application while mentoring a team and partnering with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax.

A background in multi-currency environments and strong ERP experience are essential. The role requires 5–7 years in O2C/AR with at least 2 years in a lead role, plus fluency in German and advanced English.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in O2C, AR or Finance Operations, incl. 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of O2C processes, financial controls and compliance frameworks.
• Hands-on ERP experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Workday.
• Fluent German (spoken and written) and advanced English (C1).
• Willingness to relocate to Porto, Portugal.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and perform O2C operations end-to-end: order management, billing, collections, cash application and dispute resolution.
• Prepare and review AR ageing reports, drive collection strategies and reduce DSO.
• Resolve escalated disputes and negotiate payment terms with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with audit, SOX and internal controls, IFRS and tax requirements.
• Drive process automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations and reporting to senior management.
• Train and mentor junior O2C specialists.
• Work with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams.

What you need
