Job summary

Cross Border Talents in Porto is seeking an experienced O2C professional to own end-to-end O2C operations, including order management, billing, collections, and dispute resolution. The role requires German fluency, multi-currency experience and a track record in leadership.

The position offers relocation support to Portugal, a Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00 schedule with weekends off, and an international, growing medical technology environment with clear pathways for career development in global

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
5–7 years in O2C/Finance Operations, including 2+ years in a lead role.
Experience with ERP systems and multi-currency environments.
Advanced Excel and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and perform O2C operations: order management, billing, collections, cash application and dispute resolution
Prepare and review AR ageing reports, drive collection strategies and reduce DSO
Resolve escalated disputes and negotiate payment terms with customers and internal stakeholders
Ensure compliance with audit, SOX and internal controls, IFRS and tax requirements
Drive process automation, standardisation and efficiency improvements
Support month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations and reporting to senior management
Train and mentor junior O2C specialists
Work with Sales, Logistics, Treasury and Tax teams
