Banco Finantia in Lisbon seeks a Senior Network and Telecommunications Administrator to ensure the reliability and performance of critical networks and telecom infrastructures supporting the Bank’s operations with high availability, security and resilience.

You will manage LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, monitor infrastructures, analyze logs and performance metrics, and support VoIP and call recording systems, while documenting topologies and procedures.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network administration and telecommunications.
• Proven experience in managing and supporting network and telecommunications environments.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, STP, VRRP and QoS.
• Cisco CCNA or CCNP certification (preferred).
• Experience with Cisco equipment and network monitoring tools.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Spanish (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Administer and maintain LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks with high availability, security and performance.
• Continuously monitor network infrastructures, identifying connectivity issues and ensuring timely resolution.
• Analyze logs, alerts and performance metrics to prevent failures and optimize efficiency.
• Manage and support VoIP and call recording solutions for reliability.
• Create, configure and maintain telephone extensions and user profiles.
• Implement and monitor QoS standards for voice and video communications.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve and modernize networks.
• Review and evolve network architecture to align with business needs.
• Prepare and maintain network documentation including topologies and procedures.
• Develop capacity planning and expansion initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and operators to ensure service levels.

We are looking for a Network & Telecommunications Administrator to play an active role in the management, monitoring and optimization of the Group’s network and telecommunications infrastructures, ensuring the continuity of critical services and the effective support of the Bank’s technological operations.

You will bring strong technical expertise, analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, contributing to the identification of improvement opportunities, the prevention of incidents and the continuous enhancement of network performance and telecommunications services.

Your impact

You will operate at the core of the Bank’s network and telecommunications environment, contributing to:

• The administration and maintenance of LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks, ensuring high levels of availability, security and performance;
• The continuous monitoring of network infrastructures, proactively identifying connectivity issues and ensuring their timely resolution;
• The analysis of logs, alerts and performance metrics to prevent failures and optimize infrastructure efficiency;
• The management and support of VoIP and call recording solutions, ensuring their reliability and operational effectiveness;
• The creation, configuration and maintenance of telephone extensions and user profiles;
• The implementation and monitoring of quality of service (QoS) standards for voice and video communications;
• The evaluation of new technologies and the identification of opportunities to improve and modernize network infrastructures;
• Participation in the review and evolution of network architecture, ensuring alignment with business and technological requirements;
• The preparation and maintenance of network documentation, including topologies, procedures and operational standards;
• The development of capacity planning and network expansion initiatives;
• Collaboration with suppliers and telecommunications operators to ensure service quality and compliance with agreed service levels;
• The continuous improvement of processes, controls and operational practices, promoting greater efficiency, resilience and service quality.

Perfil

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networks or a related field;
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in network administration and telecommunications;
• Proven experience in managing and supporting network and telecommunications environments;
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, STP, VRRP and QoS;
