Job summary

Luza Group in Portugal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead to guide the technical delivery of complex .NET applications, design scalable architectures, and mentor engineers. You will work with AWS or Azure, Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD, and security practices, while collaborating with Product Owners and clients in a hybrid work setup.

Your background includes 7+ years in software development, 5+ years with C#/.NET, and production experience with cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years hands-on C# and .NET development.
• Senior/lead roles with ownership of architecture decisions.
• Production experience with AWS or Azure.
• Experience with microservices, APIs and design patterns.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows experience.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent).
• API security, authentication and data privacy knowledge.
• Mentoring developers and conducting code reviews.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering.
• Professional working English for international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of complex .NET applications and services.
• Remain involved in coding, design reviews, and production support.
• Own architectural decisions across application design and deployment.
• Design and develop cloud-based solutions on AWS or Azure.
• Lead microservices, APIs, and event-driven components.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical teams through challenges.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and IaC.
• Ensure security principles in APIs and data handling.
