team.it is seeking a Senior NAS Storage Administrator in Lisbon to manage and optimize large-scale NAS storage environments. The role requires deep expertise in NFS, SMB/CIFS, and storage lifecycle, with hands-on experience across NetApp, Dell PowerScale, and Hitachi VSP platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, performance, and disaster recovery readiness, while leveraging automation with Bash, Python, and Ansible. A strong command of English is essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience as a NAS Storage Administrator, Storage Engineer, or Infrastructure Storage Specialist.
• Strong expertise in administration, monitoring, and support of enterprise NAS storage environments.
• Proven experience managing and troubleshooting NFS-based storage platforms in large-scale enterprise infrastructures.
• Advanced knowledge of SMB/CIFS storage environments and integration with Windows Active Directory.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp, Dell PowerScale (Isilon), and Hitachi VSP storage platforms.
• Expertise in storage provisioning, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of storage protocols including NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, and NVMe.
• Experience managing SAN and NAS infrastructures in highly available environments.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex storage incidents, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure issues.
• Experience working with storage replication, snapshots, disaster recovery, and backup integration.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using Bash, Ksh, Python, Perl, and Ansible.

• Experience working within Agile and enterprise operational environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).
• Ability to work autonomously within senior support and engineering teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Dell PowerScale advanced administration and cluster management.
• Hitachi VSP administration and performance tuning experience.
• Knowledge of VMware integration with enterprise storage platforms.
• Experience with IBM Power Systems and distributed storage environments.
• Exposure to cloud storage technologies and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, incident management, and change management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other highly regulated sectors.
