act digital in Portugal is seeking a Systems Administrator (Storage) to join a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise storage environments. The role focuses on NAS/SAN platforms, high availability, and performance.

You will configure SMB shares integrated with DFS and Active Directory, manage NFS, iSCSI and NVMe protocols, monitor health and capacity, and automate tasks with scripting and Ansible.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in Storage Administration within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with NetApp, Dell Isilon or similar storage platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, SMB Windows Shares and DFS.
• Experience with storage protocols: NFS, iSCSI, NVMe.
• Scripting and automation using Shell, Python and Ansible.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Systems Administrator (Storage) to join a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise storage environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support enterprise storage platforms.
• Manage NAS storage environments and ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and support SMB Windows shares integrated with DFS and Active Directory.
• Administer and troubleshoot NFS, iSCSI, and NVMe storage protocols.
• Monitor storage performance, capacity, and system health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Systems, and Network teams on strategic projects and platform improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Storage Administration within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
• NetApp
• Dell Isilon
• Strong knowledge of:

• DFS (Distributed File System)
• Experience with storage and file-sharing protocols:
• NFS
