team.it is seeking a Senior Big Data Linux Engineer to own Linux system engineering, big data platform support, and operation automation in a fast-growing environment.

You will work with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Hadoop ecosystem, Cloudera platform administration, and security services like Kerberos and Ranger. Collaboration across Agile teams and strong English communication are essential.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in Linux system engineering, infra operations or big data platform support.
• Strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux expertise with enterprise administration.
• Hands-on monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis of Linux servers.
• Automation of tasks using Python and Ansible.
• Experience with distributed storage (SAN/NAS/RAID) and capacity management.
• Support of JVM-based apps and middleware; Hadoop ecosystem knowledge.
• Understanding of HDFS, data replication and storage optimization.
• Familiar with Kerberos/Ranger security services; Agile team collaboration.
• English communication at least B2 level.

team Senior Big Data Linux Engineer, is that you?

• 5+ years of experience in Linux System Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, or Big Data Platform Support.
• Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux and enterprise Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience with Linux server monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis, including CPU, memory, disk, and network diagnostics.
• Proven experience automating operational tasks using Python and Ansible.
• Solid understanding of distributed storage environments, including SAN, NAS, RAID configurations, and capacity management.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting JVM-based applications and middleware platforms.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystems and Cloudera platform administration.
• Understanding of HDFS architecture, capacity planning, data replication, and storage optimization.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex incidents in large-scale Big Data environments.
• Familiarity with security and authentication services such as Kerberos, Ranger, and related ecosystem components.
• Experience collaborating with application, infrastructure, and operations teams within Agile environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in mission-critical environments.
• Good communication skills in English (B2 minimum).

Nice to Have:

• Cloudera Administration or Cloudera Data Platform experience.
• Experience with Kafka, NiFi, Flume, or other Big Data ecosystem tools.
• Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE).
• Experience with Oracle Linux.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
