Decskill is seeking a Senior Middleware Operations Engineer expert in WebSphere to join our Lisbon-based team. You will ensure stability and operational excellence of WebSphere services in production and provide L2/L3 production support for middleware environments.

You will automate tasks with Ansible, shell scripting, and Python, support migrations to Liberty, monitor logs and server resources, and collaborate with deployment teams in a fast-paced, international context.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in middleware operations, app server support, or production support.
• Strong hands-on WebSphere Application Server administration.
• Mandatory experience with at least one WebSphere migration to Liberty.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting and service restoration.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix, JVM fundamentals, log analysis and app server runtimes.
• Experience with Ansible for operational automation.
• Good knowledge of Shell scripting and Python.
• Experience with deployment/orchestration tools like XLD/XLR.
• Experience in performance optimization, server resource analysis and platform stability.
• Ability to work autonomously in complex, critical environments.
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments is a plus.
• Strong understanding of app server migration, lifecycle management and obsolescence.
• Good level of spoken and written English.
