Job summary

Emma – The Sleep Company in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Category Manager to lead the Mattress & Bed categories for the French market. You will shape the long-term category strategy, define the portfolio, pricing, and positioning, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product success across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Pricing, RGM, Key Account Management, Business Strategy, or Consulting, ideally in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods.
• Fluent in English; French is desirable but not mandatory.
• Ability to connect customer insights, product performance, pricing dynamics, and operational levers to define growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Mattress & Bed categories, the two biggest categories for Emma's France market, by defining long-term strategy, portfolio, pricing, and positioning.
• Define and execute product portfolio strategy, including launches, phase-ins, phase-outs, and lifecycle optimization.
• Develop pricing and positioning strategies to strengthen competitiveness and maximize customer value.
• Coordinate with product development, marketing, customer service, and supply chain to ensure product success.
• Ensure compelling product communication across webshop and marketing channels.
