Job summary

Flix seeks a Senior Data Scientist within the Commercial & Marketing Intelligence team to own and evolve causal measurement practices, designing experiments that shape how we allocate the global marketing budget. You will collaborate across Marketing & Sales, Revenue Management, Reporting, and Engineering to ensure incrementality evidence drives smarter decisions at scale.

The role requires a Master's or PhD in a quantitative field and 5+ years in data science or quantitative research, with

Qualifications

• Holds a Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data science or quantitative research.
• Hands-on expertise in causal experiments (geo experiments, time-series holdouts, synthetic control).
• Proficient with Python, SQL, Power BI; familiar with statsmodels/PyMC/CausalImpact or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and run geo-, time-based, and synthetic control experiments at scale across global markets.
• Apply causal inference methods to measure marketing activity impact on bookings and revenue.
• Build and manage a test-and-learn program across paid channels.
• Contribute to attribution models and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for marketing, finance, and senior management.
• Review designs and help set internal standards for measuring marketing effectiveness.
