Job summary

Flix is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own and evolve our causal measurement practice. You will design geo- and time-based experiments, apply advanced causal methods, and shape how we allocate global marketing budgets.

You will partner across Marketing, Revenue, Reporting, and Engineering to deliver scalable incrementality evidence. You will develop test-and-learn programs for paid channels, validate attribution models, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations for

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in data science or quantitative research with causal experiments.
• Expertise in causal inference methods: diff-in-diffs, synthetic control, BSTS, or matched testing.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Power BI; familiarity with statsmodels, PyMC, CausalImpact.
• Comfortable with Git, reproducible workflows and cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Strong ability to present findings to non-technical audiences and inform decisions.
• Experience in marketing measurement or MMM is a plus; Bayesian methods helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and improve geo-based, time-based, and synthetic control experiments at scale.
• Apply causal methods to measure incremental impact on bookings and revenue.
• Build and manage a test-and-learn programme across paid channels.
• Develop and validate attribution models like CLV-MTA and MMM.
• Translate causal findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Review designs, document processes, and help set internal measurement standards.
