Flix in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own causal measurement, designing experiments that shape global marketing budget allocation. Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Statistics, Econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in data science or quantitative research with causal experiments.
• Strong command of causal inference methods (DiD, synthetic control, BSTS).
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and BI tools; experience with cloud data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, execution, and improvement of geo-based, time-based, and synthetic control experiments.
• Apply econometric and causal inference techniques to measure incremental effects on bookings and revenue.
• Build and manage a test-and-learn programme across paid channels.
• Contribute to attribution models (CLV-MTA and MMM) and provide benchmarks.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for marketing, finance, and senior management.
• Review experiment designs and help shape internal standards for measuring marketing effectiveness across channels.
