Job summary

Kraken is seeking a Senior Investigator to take on complex market abuse casework and shape how we detect and cover market abuse as the business scales. You will own investigations end-to-end, write up findings to regulator standards, and present conclusions to stakeholders across the organization.

In this role, you will calibrate surveillance thresholds, contribute to platform design and integration, and use AI responsibly to speed up evidence gathering while ensuring human oversight remains

Qualifications

• Experience investigating market abuse or trading conduct within a regulated firm such as an exchange or broker-dealer.
• Experience running investigations end-to-end with regulator-ready findings and stakeholder presentations.
• Familiarity with threshold/model calibration, platform integration, risk assessments, and audit remediation.
• Comfort using generative AI and automation tools to speed up investigative work with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations and write findings regulators can rely on.
• Lead threshold and model reviews, recalibrating rules as markets evolve.
• Support design and integration of surveillance platform capabilities for new products and data sources.
• Translate findings into surveillance coverage and assist in risk assessments and audits.
