Jobgether SRL, listed on behalf of our partner company, seeks an experienced Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect to lead a telecom project from a remote Portugal base. You will balance hands-on Java/Spring Boot development with architectural leadership, guiding a small team and collaborating with UK and international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• 2+ years in Tech Lead or Architect role.
• Telecom sector experience with BSS/OSS preferred.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot backend and complex integrations.
• 3–4 years React/TypeScript frontend guidance.
• DDD, microservices, and event-driven design.
• REST API design and OpenAPI contracts.
• OAuth2/OIDC, Spring Security, RBAC knowledge.
• AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD experience.
• UK-based stakeholder collaboration and ADR docs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture for portal and integration platform.
• Lead technical discovery and MVP strategy.
• Design scalable systems with REST, microservices, and events.
• Hands-on Java/Spring Boot development balancing with architecture.
• Mentor three full‑stack developers.
• Set engineering standards and code reviews.
• Guide frontend React/TypeScript architecture.
• Design enterprise integrations and patterns.
• Drive security, OAuth2/OIDC, RBAC implementations.
